Course Information
Course content
The transformation from centralized to distributed energy resources brings new challenges for metering, pricing, communication, and distribution. Basically we will see a power system enhanced with information technology. This lecture gives an introduction to the key mechanism of the smart grid.

Prior knowledge expected
This lecture is held in English language. This lecture will require basic maths and technical understanding at Matura level.

Modified examination information (exceptional COVID-19 provisions)
The exam will take place on January 25, 12:00-13:30 as an online exam. You will get a PDF of the questions and solve them on paper (camera has to stay on). When done, you make a scan/photo of your answers and submit them. Please register for the exam via the ZEUS page. For preparation, have a look at the course slides and at the materials on the moodle, especially the part with the previous exams.

Grading based on four or five questions, at least 50% of overall achievable points are required to pass.
