Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

The objective is to learn about different types of content production (podcasts, videos, blogs and print products). In course of the class, students will draft a concept for a media project that is ready to be implemented.

Teaching methodology

This class  consists of short lectures, interactive activities as well as group works. In addition, there will be guest speakers where students have the opportunity to network, ask questions and gain new insights.

Course content

The class will revolve around four types of content production: podcasts, videos, blogs and print products.

Students will learn the following:

- Advantages and disadvantages of these content types
- How to generate revenue streams
- How to market them
- A short overview regarding content production
- Important skills a content creator should possess

Im Fall von online durchgeführten Prüfungen sind die Standards zu beachten, die die technischen Geräte der Studierenden erfüllen müssen, um an diesen Prüfungen teilnehmen zu können.

Students will present their project at the end of the class. The concept will be summarized and reflected upon in a group paper.
