Please note: The course is part of the master's degree programme 'International Management' and can therefore only be attended by students registered for this particular programme! Since this is an interactive course with group formation, I will not make any compromises with students from other programs. The place(s) for an Erasmus student(s) will only be granted if the size of the group allows it! Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

After successfully completing the course, students are able to critical review case studies in different contextes and apply practical solutions to it. Moreover, students are able to develop well-based reasoning and reflection for various theoretical concepts in the context of (international) entrepreneurship.

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

  • Case studies analysis, presentation of practical assignments, reflection
  • Group work 

Course content

  • New venture creation (opportunity evaluation; resource mobilization; business modelling)
  • Internationalization (entry strategies; business model innovation)
  • Contextual factors of international entrepreneurship (cultural differences)
  • Further aspects (creation of social and environmental value)

Prior knowledge expected

Basic knowledge in entrepreneurship.

For students of 'International Management', the course is considered a practical complement to the lecture on International Entrepreneurship.
