Course Information
Intended learning outcomes
The aim of this course that will be held in the form of a comprised 3-day challenge is to connect students with a selected Carinthian exporting company in order to enhance understanding of the firm’s international business operations. Since this course is based on a real and for the company truly relevant business problem, students will be given the opportunity to develop analytical and problem-solving skills while – at the same time – gaining valuable first-hand experience by applying theoretical knowledge to practice. Students will work independently in groups (on a virtual platform) and finally present their results of analysis in the last session (by means of a presentation online). The cooperating firm will also be provided with a written report of the findings.
Please note that due to COVID-19 this course will be taught solely online.

- The business problem of a selected Carinthian company with exporting activities will be presented by associates of the cooperating firm on January 18, 2021 (by means of a virtual presentation)
- Solution-oriented in-depth group work (online platform)
