Cases and Experiences of Action Research

The focus of the talk will be on action research within the educational realm and on various forms, possibilities and limitations of action research in classrooms and schools. A particular focus will be on action research that is supported by communities. Both, theoretical considerations and practical examples from large-scale teacher professional development programs and networks based on action research will be presented. Possible implications for both theory and practice of educational action research will be discussed as well.
