Title: Modeling Node Locations and Connectivity by Means of Stochastic Geometry
Description: The presentation provides an overview on stochastic modeling of wireless networks. The first part introduces point procecesses and some of their most important properties. Applications to wireless networks are included in this part. The second part is dealing with inhomogeneous node distributions; how to generate them and how to measure their inhomogeneity. The third part deals with percolation theory, alway in connection to the application scenario, which is to analyze probabilistic flooding in networks.
