Title: Self-employment of high-skilled migrants.
Description: Diversification of migrants and migration movements as well as changes in the structural conditions at a global and national level lead, among other things, to a differentiation of selfemployment of migrants. However, migrant entrepreneurs are still perceived as a homogenous group, which is described and analyzed in contrast to native self-employed. The diversification of immigrant self-employment seems to be underexposed though. Therefore the aim of the the presentation is to analyze the self-employment of high-skilled migrants of the first generation as an example for the diversification of migrant business.
