Titel: Qualitative Content Analysis Program QCAmap – an open access text analysis software.
Beschreibung: In the presentation the research tool QCAmap is displayed and explained and viewpoints of the audience, who is made familiar with this open access software, and their experiences with similar or other tools are discussed. QCAmap is an open access webapplication that can be used within research projects (in e.g. Psychology, Sociology, Education, Economics, Linguistic Sciences, and others) to analyze small and large amounts of any text material coming from interviews, group discussions, observation protocolls, documents, open-ended questionnaire items and others applying the method of Qualitative Content Analysis, which is a strictly rule-guided procedure containing qualitative steps (assignment of categories to text passages) and quantitative steps (analysis of category frequencies).
