Lecture: From Work-Discussion to Action Research
Master data
Title: | From Work-Discussion to Action Research |
Description: | This presentation shall analyse two different theoretical viewpoints concerning reflection: Action Research and Psychoanalytical Observational Studies. We will discuss the benefits and the difficulties faced when combining the two methods as a ‘loop of reflection’ of one’s own professional attitude in teaching. In practice, we shall show both methods dealing with the same question: How can a teacher develop self-reflection and to what extent does it affect their professionalism? Based on typical processes of Work Discussion and Action Research, we are going to illustrate a case study of a person with the intention of professionalizing his/her teaching approach. |
