Titel: Some Remarks on the RSA-Permutation Group and the Choice of Parameters for RSA
Beschreibung: The Structure of the RSA-Permutation Group $<{x\rightarrow x^e|gcd(e,(p-1)(q-1))=1;o>$ on $Z_{p.q}$ is studied. From the order of this group and the formula for the number of fixed points of the permutations $x\rightarrow x^e$ on $Z_{p.q}$ follows that the factorizations of the parameters $p-1, q-1$ but also $e-1$ influence the cryptanalytic quality of the cipher functions $x\rightarrow x^e$ on $Z_{p.q}$.
