Titel: Managing and facilitating trans-organisational development and performance in the public sector
Beschreibung: Public services are complex and interrelated. They cannot be organized by a single organisation. A trans-organisational view and models are required for how organisations can network and collaborate effectively in a sustainable way. Our practice as organisational consultants and our OD-research show that networks and collaboration systems are more successful if they meet specific success criteria, which are different from those of traditional organisational development. Based on our special research approach to organisational development research, in the symposium we will present a process model for trans-organisational development. We will focus on steering, coordinating, and facilitating trans-organisational development and performing and will put up specific developmental success criteria for discussion. During the symposium participants will be invited to share their interests and to co-create knowledge facilitated by us. We will first give a presentation, followed by a general facilitated discussion. The design of the symposium will reflect its thematic focus.
