Following the spirit and the tradition of previous events in this series of workshops, the 14th AustrianNumerical Analysis Day was held at the Department of Mathematics of the Alpen-Adria-University Klagenfurt. The aim of this annual workshop was to inform about activities in the fields of numerical analysis and appliedmathematics. Scientists from Austrian universities and other researchinstitutions in particular are invited to present their research, exchange ideas, and start  new collaborations.
