The First Carinthian EMP-Kant Workshop isconcerned with Cognition,Self-Knowledge and the Self.

How is theconcept of cognition related to the concept of knowledge? What is the self, andhow does self-awareness contribute to the constitution of the self? How is theidentity of the self over time constituted?

We discuss papersrecontructing views from Spinoza, Leibniz, Locke, Berkeley,Reid and Kant. Papers are presented in English, but can be discussedin both German and English.
