2nd scientific and Technological Workshop for Ukrainian Youth

The second edition of scientific-technological workshop for Ukrainian youth (ages 6–15) took place at the University of Klagenfurt in July–August 2022. It was organized by Iryna Vasylieva and Andrei Asinowski  (Dept. of Mathematics), and Dina Ramazanova (Dept. of Informatics Didactics). The event included lectures, interactive workshops, and problem-solving sessions in Mathematics, Robotics, and Computer Science on the following topics:

• Mathematics in school, everyday life, and art (Andrei Asinowski),

• Geometric and Logical puzzles (Iryna Vasylieva),

• Foundations of Computer Science and Robotics (Dina Ramazanova).

Additionally, the workshop included sessions dedicated to school mathematics with emphasis on relevant German vocabulary. The event was attended by 25 participants who were partitioned into three age groups. The financial support by the Government of Carinthia is highly appreciated by the organizers and the participants.
