The IRSPM Special Interest Group on Accounting and Accountability is a dynamic and collaborative research network that advances knowledge, empowers researchers and builds on engagement with policy, practice and communities. Our Annual Workshop brings together scholars who are interested in making a difference in public sector accounting and performance measurement research by playing an active and constructive role in its future developments.

Workshop Theme

The purpose of our upcoming workshop is to provide a collaborative and interactive environment to further define and work on concrete research ideas and projects. We particularly aim to attract scholars who are interested in developing, launching and collaborating in new research programs/projects.

Workshop Topics

This year’s workshop is specifically designed as an incubator to refine projects and discuss possible funding strategies, hence the process comprises an intensive pre-workshop phase. In a first step, members of the Special Interest Group (SIG) and researchers interested to contribute to the workshop will have the opportunity to express their interest in collaborating in different research topics.
