Title: Summerschool 2012: Leadership and Organizational Development
Description: The topic of the Summer School reflects the increasing importance of a highly qualified leadership and its capability to design and develop organizations and the collaboration between organizations. The society of today is characterized by rapid the rapid change of the way, how organizations operate and create their relationship to their environ-ments. Companies as well as public institutions have to improve their performance and at the same time integrate values, which are relevant for the future development of a global society like sustainability, good governance and social responsibility. The leadership plays a key role in this context. Following these topics the program consists of a basic unit and two special tracks: The basic unit clarifies the logic of social systems and the ways, how they can be influenced in a way that promotes development and organizational learning.
