Beschreibung: The Conference series overall is related to the topics of Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination. The SPICE 2005 Conference focused on the special topics: • Methods, models and tools to support software process assessment • Emerging Process Reference Models and Process Assessment Models • Case study and experience reports on process improvement and/or capability determination • Benchmarking based upon process assessment as a foundation for process improvement • Relationships and comparisons between different models and approaches to process assessment • Relationships between process capability and organizational maturity • Theoretical considerations on the basis of the technique of process assessment • Use of process assessment in domains other than software and systems engineering • Certification schemes incorporating process assessment • Sector based and domain based initiatives e.g. in automotive, space, healthcare, safety and security domains • Assessment approaches applied to agile development approaches • Considerations for safety integrity levels when performing assessments In addition outstanding experts E.g., Prof. Bernd Hindel, Alec Dorling and gave talks about the current situation and the future of SPiCE.
