| Beschreibung: | Information Systems Technology is a core and base discipline of informatics which addresses a variety of technical issues and application domains, e.g., re-engineering, maintenance, natural language processing, business administration, semantic web technologies, mobile and pervasive computing etc.. As such it changes the way businesses and organizations operate. The ISTA conference series provides a platform for experts from practice and academia who are working from different perspectives on information systems technology. As such it is intended to initiate and strengthen the co-operation of practitioners, researchers, users and information providers involved in the development and deployment of commercial and industrial information systems. ISTA started off in 2001 in Ukraine and has migrated to the USA (Salt Lake City 2004), New Zealand (Palmerston North 2005) and Austria (Klagenfurt 2006) since. Over that time, ISTA became a well-respected event joining researchers from various nations to discuss and cooperate. ISTA 2007 took place from May 23 to May 25 and returned back to its initial venue: Kharkiv, Ukraine. |
