Title: Radio Channel Measurements: First Results of a Car-to-Car Scenario
Subtitle: Extended Abstract
Abstract: We measure radio channel characteristics of a car-to-car communication scenario in an urban environment. The measurements are performed with two WARP boards, where one of the boards acts as the sending node and the other as the receiving node. Each of the boards is attached to a car and transmits or receives data while the cars are in motion. The measurements are analyzed and a model for the expected reception power is derived. Furthermore, we model shadow fading and fast fading and also give information about bit error ratios.
