Abstract: | "Considering challenges of our economy Knowledge Management (KM) and Project Management become indispensable for future success. Referring to this more and more companies need to deal with KM in projects and ways to organise and institutionalise knowledge transfer and learning as well as how to collect and use project experience and lessons learned. A systemic, systematic and structured (3S) way of sharing and transferring knowledge is required within an organisation to overcome these problems. The article provides a concept and process of a successful institutionalisation as an example how to use the 3S concept to actively accumulate, transfer and utilize knowledge acquired in projects for continuous improvement.
