Description: | Im Rahmen des Projekts DASS werden innovative Verfahren des maschinellen Lernens zur Modellierung von zeitaufgelösten Signalen verwendet. Ziel ist es, das Eintreten bestimmter Ereignisse in der Zukunft auf Basis von aus Testdaten gelernten prädiktiven Merkmalen vorhersagen zu können. Dazu werden verschiedene Ansätze evaluiert und in einem umfassenden Benchmark bezüglich erzielter Vorhersagegenauigkeit und Generalisierbarkeit verglichen. Die Projektergebnisse stellen die Grundlage zur weiteren Entwicklung von sog. smart devices dar. |

Data Analysis for Smart Systems | |
Description: | This project aims at investigating novel approaches based on machine learning for modelling nonlinear, time-resolved sensor signals. Predictive features are learned from a ground truth dataset and are used to forecast the occurrence of certain events in the future. Different approaches are developed and compared in an extensive benchmark to estimate the accuracy of the predictions and the generalizability of the models. The results of the project are the basis for the development of future smart devices. |
