Energy Aware Workflow Compiler for Future Heterogeneous Systems (WTZ ÖAD)

In the past decade, computer architectures have experienced a paradigm shift. What used to be a single processor conducting operations on a static memory hierarchy has advanced to a complex dynamic system encompassing heterogeneous components (CPUs, GPUs) operating on an elaborated, partitioned networked environment. Despite these trends, the major popular programming languages and development tools (including compilers) remain based on the old single processor paradigm.
