QuASE - Quality-Aware Software Engineering
Description: Organizing quality-related communication between different parties in the development process (such as software developers and business stakeholders) is difficult and often fails. This is a problem because without proper communication the information about quality tends to get lost which leads to producing bad quality products or increasing the development costs. We address this problem with a theoretical framework, the set of practical implementation procedures, and a software tool allowing acquiring quality-related software development experience into the knowledge base (semantic repository) based on the common quality ontology established as a result of the empirical studies. The collected experience facilitates establishing the communication channels between the parties while discussing quality-related issues and supports quality-based decision making in a software process.
