Description: Neue Technologien bedingen neue Formen des Unterrichts, somit ist der Einsatz geographischer Informationssysteme im weitesten Sinn mehr als das Benutzen von technologischen Geräten. Völlig neue Ansätze ergeben sich aus fachdidaktischer und pädagogischer Perspektive - diese zu erforschen und beim Einsatz im Unterricht zu unterstützen ist das Hauptanliegen von digital:earth:at. Finanziert wird das Projekt von EACEA (The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency: http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/index_en.php).
