Description: | A framework for a competency based curriculum for education for sustainable development will be developed for initial teacher training and in-service training institutions. The framework can be adapted to the institutions local context. The project strongly emphasizes the interdisciplinary approach and takes into account scientific, economic, social, political, cultural and ethical aspects of sustainable development. The most direct target-groups are teacher trainers of both initial and in-service teacher trainer institutions. The main activities include drafting and analysing case studies, the organisation of 6 transnational workshops, where the curriculum model will be critically discussed and analysed and try-outs of the developed framework in the partner teacher training institutions. The main output will be the curriculum framework for education for sustainable development, containing competences, tasks and contents for a curriculum for education for sustainable development. It will be published on the website of the Comenius 3 SEED-project and on the website of ENSI. It will also be available as a printed handbook, translated into the different languages of the partners working in the project. |

Description: | Ziel ist die Entwicklung einer allgemeinen Rahmenstruktur für kompetenzbasierte Studienpläne zur Entwicklung einer nachhaltigen Bildung an Institutionen der Lehrer/innen/Aus- und Weiterbildung. Inhaltlich fokussiert dieses Projekt auf die Interdisziplinarität und auf der besonderen Berücksichtigung wissenschaftlicher, ökonomischer, sozialer, politischer, kultureller und ethnischer Aspekte einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung. Einen Kernbereich stellen bereits vorhandene und/oder konzipierte Fallstudien aus Institutionen der Projektpartnerländer dar. |
