Selbstorganisation in Netzen
Description: Im Rahmen dieses Projektes wird die Anwendung von selbstorganisierten Konzepten in vernetzten Systemen untersucht. Ziel ist es, zu untersuchen, unter welchen Bedingungen Eigenschaften von selbstorganisierten Systemen wie Robustheit, Anpassungsfähigkeit, Skalierbarkeit auf vernetzte Systeme übertragen werden können.

Self Organization in Networks
Description: The paradigm of self organization is known from many applications in the domains of biology, physics, social behavior and economics. Self organizing systems tend to be robust and adaptive to new situations while having a low complexity for the particular individuum. The objective of this research project is to analyze how self organizing concepts can be applied in networked systems in order to achieve properties like robustness, scalability and adaptivity.
